What is DVR and how does it work?

The first recording device introduced for television and security was known as the VCR. This was a piece of equipment that used video cassette tapes to record data from a tv or cctv equipment for video playback later. This device that would let people record television shows and allow watching them without commericials or interuptions during the program. You could record, watch later and save programs for viewing as often as desired. The tivo was invented for mainstream television to skip the commercials and offer a pleasant dvr experience. For decades the vcr survived as the the source of data recording via cassette tape. Closed circuit television, also known as CCTV utilized the VCR for data recording of security video. The antiquated and virtually extinct VCR has been replaced with digital sophistication and electronic storage medium. DVR stands for digital video recorder. A DVR is a device that records video in a digital format to an electronic memory medium. What most people think of when they hear DVR is the cable or satellite set-top box on their TV. The term also describes hardware and software for personal computers enabling video capture and playback to and from disk. Finally, and most importantly, DVR technology is the basis of video surveillance systems.

How does shock sensor work?

How does door sensor work?

The sensors for the doors will come in two pieces; they are held in place by a strong self-adhesive backing. One piece fits on the door and the other to the door frame. When the door is closed, a connection is made between the two pieces. When the door is opened, the connection is broken--and if the control panel is in operating mode, the alarm will sound. Place the door sensor piece at the top corner of the door. Remove the back adhesive covering and press the sensor firmly on the door. Attach the second piece on the door frame. Repeat this on all entry doors in your home.
